On foot from the hotel (15 or 20 minutes) you can walk to
the tower of Kerroc’h overlooking the port and the bay of
Paimpol. From there, you will also see the hotel nestling in
a green environment.

The Vedette of Brehat offers several sea routes : the River
of the Trieux which will take you to the foot of the Castle of
Roche Jagu, Saint Quai Portrieux, Binic, the archipelago
of 7 islands of Perros Guirec and along the magnificent
coast of pink granite and let's also mention the visit of
Treguier. During these crossings you can enjoy magnificent
landscapes which will remain in your memory.

Arcouest Headland (5 to 10 min by car) offers a
magnificent view on the Island of Brehat and its islands.
The Vedette of Brehat can take you to the island (15min) or
take you on a 45 to 50 minutes'tour which will allow you to
discover this magnificent site with its myriads of islands
before docking on the "Island with the closed Harbour".

The festival of the Sailors'songs which takes place every
2 years attracts splendid old sailing ships you can listen to
traditional sailors songs played on board.
The festival takes place on the port which is closed for the
occasion.

The port of Paimpol (2 min by car,10-15min on foot) is a
privileged venue for famous events such as the festival of
Sailors'Songs. Paimpol city is also a stopover for the
sailing race around France ; It is also the point of
departure and arrival of a sailing race to Island organized
by the skippers of island "paimpol-reykjavik-gravelines-
paimpol". In season, musics festivals are organised on the
port every Tuesday and of course fireworks on July 14th.

Traditional sailboards : old sailing ships, such as the
"Eulalie, The Nebula, Enez Coalen or the Vieux Copain" can
take you to the heart of the maritime soul of Brittany.

The waters ports club of Paimpol-Loguivy de la Mer will
introduce you to the art of sailing or sea kayaking.

Deep sea diving is one of the others numerous activities
related to the sea.

Hikers will be lucky : the gr34 is a long road which leads the
tour of Brittany a few hundred metres from the hotel.
Paimpol and Brehat provide a wide choice of walks and
rides.

Place to visit :  Beauport Abbey in Kérity at the edged
Paimpol, the museum of the sea  of Paimpol (local maritime
history), the Breton dress museum, iceland memorial of
Ploubazlanec (the cod fishing in Iceland), the famous French
writer Ernest Renan’s house in Treguier.

You cannot possibly miss the Trieux steam train :
unique in Brittany a steam engine linking Paimpol to Pontrieux.
